Collaborations
How lucky I am to work with a mix of small beautiful brands, all of whom allow me to share my own particular pattern of living, my creative rhythm and who help me negotiate my way through the noise and silence of everyday life.

IH + Pomegranate
Having, penned, photographed and published a book on entertaining it felt like a perfect move to partner with Pomegranate on some table linens and the occasional glass and plate. Inspired by the art of Indian block printing and a love for the unmistakable beauty of things made by hand, Pomegranate make tablecloths and napkins through the ancient art of hand-block printing which has been practiced in India for over 800 years. I believe what makes a home are the memories, objects and above all family, but a decent prettily designed tablecloth or two certainly helps.

IH + Penelope Chilvers
A collection for Penelope Chilvers, soft as slippers boots and ballet flats, influenced by cowgirls, tomboys and adventurers lovingly crafted by Spanish artisans preserving rare footwear manufacturing techniques passed down from generation to generation “If something is to be made, it should be made well” Penny Chilvers always reminds me. Enduringly made to be passed down as heirlooms to my daughter Domino who will walk through the chapters of her own life in them.

IH + Loom & Co
It started with Abaca — a material woven from banana leaves, tactile and unexpected, and immediately connected to island life. From there came patterns drawn from vintage playing cards my mother and I still use, and the intricate markings on Vincent, our family tortoise's shell. Loom & Co hand-knot every rug with third-generation artisans in India and Turkey, and no two are exactly alike — each one carrying the quiet marks of the hands that made it. Rugs that welcome you in and make anywhere feel like home.

IH + Wallshoppe
Wallpaper has always felt personal to me — a declaration, a commitment, a room transformed. When David and I decided to design a collection together for the first time in more than a decade, it had to be wallpaper. The result is Flint Wood & Hicks for Wallshoppe: tailored stripes, painterly florals, and heritage-inspired patterns softened with unexpected colour — equally at home in a Bahamian cottage or an English country house. Wallshoppe design and print everything in Los Angeles, on eco-friendly materials that are as considered as the patterns themselves.

IH + TWP
There are brands you wear because they make sense, and then there are brands you wear because they feel like you. TWP is the latter. Trish Wescoat Pound designs what I think of as the ideal tomboy wardrobe — beautifully made shirts, blazers and trousers that work just as hard as the women wearing them, produced in New York from the finest Italian fabrics. I have worn and loved this brand since its very beginning, and I am proud to champion it now as it plants its flag in London.
